But God is not just good, he is Holy, Perfect and Pure in his character and in all his ways. God who is Holy has declared that ALL sin must be punished. If a human court will not let the guilty away with their crime, then how much more will the courtroom of divine justice make sure that the guilty are punished. A good human judge will punish murderers, thieves, sex crimes. But God is so good (Holy) he will also punish the hateful, the unmerciful, the selfish, the immoral, the greedy and all liars! God says that no thief will enter the kingdom of heaven and that "all liars, will have their part in the Lake burning with fire and brimstone" (Revelation 21:8).

 

God's justice demands your sins be paid for. The Bible says it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. It also says, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." The words of Jesus from Matthew 10:28.

 

PLEASE NOTE THIS: It is the goodness of God that condemns you for your sin. God is not an unjust judge. God will punish all sin. He must if he's Good!
