The proud person will continue to deny their guilt even when all the evidence is stacked against them.

 

But in God's eyes, NO ONE is good.

It is an is an important step in getting right with God because the Bible says that whoever exalts themself will be humbled but whoever humbles themself will be exalted (Matthew 23:12). The Bible also says, God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6).
